Man, i can describe this game in a couple of words: “Over The Top!”. It has a great deal of Japanese anime influence to it. The first thing that catches your eyes is the main character, Bayonetta, who has big T&A. Big! So when playing this game you can be assured that there are plenty of perv shots and scenes. Playing this around younger siblings or older folks will have you feeling quite awkward.
Now once you get that all through your head this game is fantastic. Think Devil May Cry and some God of War. It has fast pace action with a good amount of weapons at your disposal. Believe me, the action is pretty heavy. You’ll need them because the bosses get quite gigantic and tough. One thing i definitely appreciate about this game is the music that plays when enemies appear. Instead of a heart-beating troubled music, you get a nice laid back music as you whoop ass. Soothing indeed. The music is still stuck in my head. The whole game is actually pretty long so my money was well spent. As for the storyline, i just got lost i couldn’t even understand crap until the end it made some sense. The design of the characters are pretty magnificent though.
Now for the things that annoy me. Let’s begin with these damn quick time events. People who played Resident Evil 5 or the God of War series should know what i’m talking about. In Bayonetta, they use it during the cut scenes which is the worst idea ever! After beating a boss and a cut scene begins, my first instinct is to sit back, relax and enjoy the video. This game doesn’t allow you to get comfy at all as you might be treated to a flashing message saying “Press X”. By the time you pick the controller back up it’s too late. The other thing i have to give the thumbs down to is the constant reuse of bosses and mini-bosses. It’s feels so uninspiring. It’s laziness i tell you! Even with that, the game has plenty of good to offer. The game probably slipped under most people’s radar as other great games were released around that time. It’s a shame if you haven’t heard about it or at least try it out.
One of the great early games for the Xbox 360 is now a movie. The Dead Rising movie is a Japanese flick with all the cheesy gore you can imagine. It doesn’t seem to follow the game storyline. Doesn’t bother me though, you can bet it’s something i’ll be watching once it comes out.
If you ain’t cheering for the New Orleans Saints, you need to get up out of here. I’m a big Drew Brees fan and i’m glad he has a chance to win the big one. It’s a touch match against Indy but i believe they will pull it off.
This one has been up on digg.com today and it’s quite funny. Things get a little too weird near the end of the video. Hit the 4:30 mark and continue to watch til the end. Someone please make a character mod of him and put him in the M.U.G.E.N game. He definitely deserves a spot next to Strider Hiryu in the Marvel Vs. Capcom series. If not, then maybe an ally to Rurouni Kenshin in the next anime installment. He’s got a killer mullet too. Before you call me a jerk for laughing, go read the comments on the source link and then tell me if i’m the worse.
The news floating around is Leno will be getting this old spot back and Conan will leave NBC but not without a large sum of cash. Meanwhile, during Conan’s last night show, he decided to put the Tonight Showfor sale on Craigslist. Over on the other side, Leno had Jimmy Kimmel as a guest for his 10 at 10 segment — and boy did Kimmel get pretty nasty. He cracked on Leno about the whole NBC situation as Leno tries to keep his cool.
I’m not that brave to go parachuting but i’ll tell you one thing, if it was anything like this commercial, i’d go in a heartbeat. Before you click the video, i must warn you it’s totally NSFW. So if you’re underage don’t view it because your mom is right there behind you with a leather belt.
Hats off to him. I’m sure Dyra would salute to him too. He’s been in the league for 12 seasons and still kicking ass. He was actually my favorite cornerback next to Ty Law back when he was with the Oakland Raiders. Hard to believe but that time the Raiders were actually good as they were the #1 offense and i believe the #2 defense in 2002. Woodson was one of the best press coverage guys and was often compared to Champ Bailey. As Patriot fans we all remember the playoffs with the birth of the controversial tuck/fumble rule with Brady in the 2002 playoffs. Did you know Charles Woodson was the guy who knocked the ball out of Brady’s hand during that play?
