Still Addicted To Peggle
It’s an old puzzle game that will never get old. I’ve been playing this a hell lot when im bored out of my mind. It looks like pachinko but different. You start off by shooting a silver ball in the area which is filled with blue, orange, green, and purple pegs. Whatever the silver ball hits, those pegs will disappear. For each peg hit, you will receive points. The more combo the better. The main objective to beating a level is to simply eliminate all the orange pegs. The blue pegs are basically you’re pegs that are obstacle courses that block you from hitting an orange one. The green pegs are power-ups while the purple gives you bonus points. With each stage comes different characters that offer there own unique aid once you hit a green peg. There’s one dude that looks like Mr. Krabs who’s power up makes the game have a pinball feel to it. Peggle is a great pick ‘em up game that you can learn in seconds. Some levels may seem easy but the last few are a pain in the ass. It took me more luck than skill to beat it. I had to use the Owl who’s power-up is like an aimbot just to beat it. There’s also an online mode where i totally got embarrassed with a pathetic 30,000 score while the other guy had 120,000. You can grab this game for the PC, Xbox Live Arcade, or your mobile phone. It costs 800 MS points for the XBLA version which equals to $10.
update: PopCap has released a special WoW edition of the game. You can try the free demo here for the pc.
