Sharon Osbourne vs. Megan

Posted in Humor, TV/Movie by Riddy

I don’t watch Charm School but saw this video while surfing. I guess it’s the reunion episode that MTV loves to do. Megan, that nice racked girl disses Sharon. What she said was a big low blow and quite funny so was the response by Sharon.

Phillip Rivers Hook Shot

Posted in Gaming, Humor, Sports by Riddy

I still play Madden ‘09 even though it pisses me off. This time i was playing the Panthers against the Chargers. Out of nowhere, Phillip Rivers decides he wants to do some “and 1″ shit and does a sky hook pass. When you do dumb throws like that it will get intercepted. For a moment there i thought i was playing NFL Street.

Ip Man Movie

Posted in TV/Movie by Riddy

vlcsnap-53741

This movie was pretty good. A lot of people seem to really like it. Donnie Yen plays the role of Ip Man and does a good job of it. If you’re into fighting action, this one will please you. I’ll just let you know, Donnie Yen just whoops everyone ass easily. This movie has some resemblance to the Jet-Li movie, Fearless. Lastly, for those Bruce Lee fans like me, no, you will not see any appearance of a teenage Bruce Lee being played in the movie. Fortunately, a sequel to the movie is suppose to be in works which will have Bruce Lee in it.

rating: 4/5

Year : 2008
Country : Hong Kong
Film Genre : Action/Biography/History

Director : Wilson Yip
Cast : Donnie Yen, Simon Yam, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Lam Ka Tung, Fan Siu Wong, Shi Xingyu, Wong You Nam, Chen Zhi Hui, Sammo Hung, Mallika Sherawat, Lynn Hung

Plot/Synopsis

Ip Man is adapted from the life story of Ip Man, the grand master of the Wing Chun style of kung fu and sifu (master) of legendary kung fu superstar Bruce lee. Wing Chun has a history of more than 200 years. It was founded by Yim Wing Chun, took root in the hands of Leung Chun, and prospered with Ip Man. The art of Wing Chun has now become very popular with martial arts enthusiasts, especially oversea. It is a traditional Chinese martial art with a formidable reputation internationally.

To this date there have been neither movies nor publications about Ip Man. This movie will be the first important record of the master’s life. Ip’s persistent devotion to Wing Chun is a classic example of the love and respect shown to wushu and the freedom and spirit it represents. This movie will see the making of a modern wushu master representative of Chinese people worldwide. Ip Man is a concept, a spirit, a way of thinking – and it represents a new peak in Hong Kong’s wushu movies.

The Official Xbox and Playstation magazine gave SF IV a near perfect score. That’s one good game to start off the ‘09 year.

Happy Late New Years!

Posted in Lifestyle by Riddy

newyears_09_6

I would have posted this yesterday but just like everyone else i was recovering from a hangover. I asked the bartender for a hard shot and damn did i get one. That “American Spanish Soldier” shot crept up real quick. What a New Years it was when i got shut down from left to right. Maybe Dyra is right, my game is slow. Anyway, here’s a wish of good luck and happiness to all of you out there. I know it’s hard times right now but the sun will eventually shine upon us.
I got some pictures up but Cheath got the rest so visit by his Myspace page to look at it once he puts it up. You know Cheath though, he’ll post it up 3 months from now. So this will be the first post of the 2009 year, much love!

Possibly The Best Street Fighter IV Players in Japan

Posted in Gaming by Riddy

street_fighter_4_cover_by_udoncrew

Shoryuken.com has a compiled list of the top Street Fighter IV players in Japan at the moment. It was possible thanks to the game being able to keep track of player points and win/loss ratio. Sagat seems to be the favorite here. If you remember back in the days, every time the demo came up in the SFII arcade, you would see Sagat always doing a Tiger Shot + Tiger Shot + Tiger Uppercut. He’d always do that and you hear the annoying “Tiger. Tiger. Tiiiiiger Uppercut!”. It’s about as annoying as the X-Men vs. Street Fighter one with Cyclops always screaming “Optic! Optic Blast!”

Just read this and it’s pretty weird. A good portion of people who own a Zune 30gb has witness freezing around midnight. Seems like Microsoft is having another buggy device. I got a 120gb and seems like it didn’t affect it. Red Ring of Death anybody?
